STRATIFIED HPL
STRATIFIED HPL GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS

It is a material obtained through a high pressure and temperature process with the use of thermosetting resins (high pressure laminate), it is non-porous and self-supporting. Created to eliminate damage caused by water, steam and oil infiltrations, it is resistant to heat, scratches and abrasion according to EN438 and ISO4586 standards. Stratified HPL is a polymerized product and therefore chemically inert and is not dangerous for people, animals or the environment. It is a product suitable for contact with food and expressly certified according to EN1186 – EN13130 – ENITS14234.
Easy to clean and maintain and given its hygiene, it is also widely used in environments such as hospitals and pharmacies as well as in catering.
For the cleaning
Normal non-aggressive household detergents can be used.
Never use abrasive or scratching substances (abrasive powders or detergents, scouring pads, do not use the green side of the sponge...), detergents or descalers or drain cleaners containing acids or strongly acidic salts (based on hydrochloric, formic or aminosulphatic acid. ..), metal or oven cleaners. If it is necessary to use a drain cleaner or drain cleaner, we recommend limiting the contact of the liquid only to the surface of the drain without involving the laminate. Avoid spilling liquids boiling directly in the sink without having first opened and let cold water flow on the bottom of the tub (heat resistance up to 180°). The surface of the worktop, due to its non-porosity, inhibits the growth of spores, mold and bacteria by responding to the European standard ISO846.
Given the waterproof characteristics of stratified laminate, we recommend the use of flush-mount hobs and sinks
